Hope Chapel is a community of people who believe in the Gospel (literally “good news”) of Jesus-- that we are loved and accepted by God through Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection. In a world which is well acquainted with sadness, fear, loneliness, and hatred, we believe this Gospel brings hope, healing and restoration and opens our eyes to see beauty in places of significant brokenness, pain, and suffering.
We are seeking to live out, in our words and actions, the teachings of Jesus by working for the spiritual, social, and cultural wellbeing of the university area of Greensboro, and the surrounding neighborhoods. Wherever you are on your spiritual journey-- if you are skeptical or mildly curious about Christianity, or if you are a committed follower of Jesus-- Hope Chapel welcomes you.
find a community group
We are not a church that merely has community groups. Our church is community groups. These groups are the best place to develop meaningful, supportive and loving relationships with each other and God. Community groups are gatherings of 6 to 15 people meeting in apartments and homes throughout Greensboro. The groups consist of worship, Bible study, sharing, prayer, and social service projects. We encourage you to join the group closest to you.
join us in serving Greensboro
We at Hope Chapel want compassionate service to be a way of life. Project Hope seeks to join local service providers to lift up the downtrodden, to connect the disenfranchised, to defend the weak, to help the poor and to restore the beauty of our city. Hope Chapel participates through quarterly church-wide service opportunities. Additionally, each community group serves together once a month.
