I'm New

We are glad that you are looking into Hope Chapel.  We’re a relatively new (Oct/2008), relatively small (about 175) church that is relationship-driven and Gospel centered. We meet near UNC-Greensboro, in a warehouse that we renovated in 2011.

For us (and in Scripture) church is not a place you "go" on Sundays, it is a people on the go. God has called us to himself in the gospel, to relationships with one another in community, and to bear witness to his kingdom in our city. We hope that you find joy and life in the gospel we preach and seek to live, that you find a home in our community life together, and that you find a sense of purpose in our collective calling to be about the mission of God in this place and for his fame.

We are a community that embraces those who are exploring Christianity, those who are committed Christians, those who are trying to recover a sense of a connection to God that they had in the past.  This is a place for the skeptic, the curious, the doubtful, the committed, the wounded, and the worshipper.

We don't believe that we have it all together, nor is that the point. God calls us into relationship with Christ, and more than anything else, that's what we want our church to be about: people meeting Jesus, knowing Jesus, loving Jesus.

Our worship service is at 10:30am on Sundays. Directions can be found here.

For a more in-depth look at our vision, we invite you to listen through some of the sermons from our annual vision sermon series: 2015 (Rooted for Renewal), 2016 (Faithful Presence), or 2017 (Rebuilding for Good).
