community
Joining a Community group is the best way to connect with others in the Hope Chapel community, explore and deepen your faith, serve the church, and love your neighbors. These groups of 6 to 15 people meet in apartments and homes throughout Greensboro. They are geographically based in order to foster true community among members, and therefore they will be multi-generational.
If you would like to get connected with a group or you have further questions, feel free to email our Lead Pastor, Todd Jones at todd@hopechapelgreensboro.org, or simply contact the leader of the group that best suits your location and schedule below (click on the red "thumbtacks" below for more information about each group) .
We encourage you to seek out a group that is close to your home because geographical proximity is central to the formation of community. However, some of you may need to venture away from your own neighborhood in order to find the group that will best suit your schedule. | Starmount Area (Jim & Nanette Osborne) |
_At Hope Chapel, community groups serve two main purposes:
2. Service – each community group will have the opportunity to serve with Hope Chapel’s “strategic partners” on a monthly basis. These are organizations that Hope Chapel is working with to help serve the city of Greensboro. This is a great way to reach out and help our city!
If you are new to Community groups, we would encourage you to ask people at Hope Chapel about their Community groups, remembering that every person in a Community group was, at one point, uninvolved and perhaps as hesitant to get connected as you may be.
