Visit Newcomers School, a school for students of refugee families and one of our Project:Hope partner organizations, for this evening of music, dance, speech, and much more.  This is a truly unique event as students from dozens of countries share various aspects of their cultures.  This event may be the single best opportunity to see what Newcomers is all about.

Film Screening

Screening of the documentary film "Playground", which deals with the topics of human trafficking and sex trade in America.  Due to the mature nature of the subject, we are recommending it only for those 16 years and older.  Place TBD.  For more information, email Michael.

Second Quarter Day of Hope
Newcomers School
May 1

For the second Day of Hope of 2010, we will organize the second annual carnival at Newcomers School for students and children so that their parents can attend training classes on campus.  Newcomers is a Guilford County school serving students of refugee families who have resettled in Greensboro. Third Quarter Day of Hope
Lindley Elementary School
August 7, 9am-12pm

For the third Day of Hope of 2010, we have  the opportunity to help our host school, Lindley Elementary,  get prepared for the new academic year, we will paint, weed, rake, pick up trash....whatever is needed to get the campus ready for school to start.  For more info, email Michael.
