At Hope Chapel, we are committed to creating a church where every person is treated with dignity, care, and respect. We seek to protect the vulnerable, care well for those who have experienced abuse, and hold abusers accountable. These commitments reflect the heart of God, who is a refuge for the oppressed and calls His people to pursue justice and mercy (Psalm 9:9, 12).
Because abuse is a painful reality in our world—and, tragically, has at times affected churches as well—we believe it is important to be informed, vigilant, and proactive. Jesus calls His followers to be both compassionate and wise (Matthew 10:16). We all share responsibility for helping make Hope Chapel a safe place for children, adults, and every member of our church family.
Our Safety and Abuse Policy outlines the practices, expectations, and procedures we have adopted to help prevent abuse, establish healthy boundaries, respond appropriately to concerns, and foster a culture of accountability and care. We encourage everyone who serves at Hope Chapel to become familiar with this policy as we work together to reflect God's love by protecting the vulnerable and promoting a safe and healthy community.
Report Misconduct
Hope Chapel is committed to fostering a community where abuse of any kind is never tolerated. Abuse can take many forms, including emotional, financial, psychological, physical, sexual, and spiritual abuse. If you experience or become aware of any form of abuse or misconduct within our church, we encourage you to report it. Our Safeguarding Team is committed to responding with care, integrity, and appropriate communication while seeking the safety and well-being of everyone involved.
