Kids
Hope Chapel’s Children’s Ministry team seeks to disciple students as they learn more about Jesus. We do this through the use of Biblical curriculum, community group involvement, corporate worship, and outreach. Children are encouraged to discover and use their gifts to serve others as they live out a life that is built on Christ.
Sundays
We are committed to the safety, teaching, and involvement of our children at Hope Chapel. Currently, we offer childcare for the duration of the worship service for children 0-24 months and a preschool ministry for children who are 2-5 years old. Children in grades K-5 are dismissed midway through the worship service for children’s discipleship. On Sunday mornings, children of all ages are learning more about who Jesus is and what God says to us in His Word.
Beyond Sundays
It is very important to us that children are involved in our outreach efforts (Serving Greensboro) and our community groups. We believe that these experiences, along with teaching and worship on Sunday, allow children to both understand and experience the gospel.
We also have a variety of fun, community-building activities for our kids and parents throughout the year. Kids have a chance to participate in a children’s choir, and attend a gingerbread making party in December, a Valentine’s Day activity in February, service projects throughout the year, and pool fellowships all summer! In addition, we have free ‘baby-sitting’ days a few times a year so that parents can take a break and kids can get together and enjoy each other at the church.
