Join us for a viewing of Lion, followed by a friendly discussion of the “gospel themes” we see in the story. Starts at 5:30pm. Feel free to bring your own dinner; we will provide popcorn, drinks, and candy! Childcare will be provided for nursery (ages 0-3) and a kids movie will be shown for older children.
Five year old Saroo gets lost on a train which takes him thousands of miles across India, away from home and family. Saroo must learn to survive alone in Kolkata, before ultimately being adopted by an Australian couple. Twenty-five years later, armed with only a handful of memories, his unwavering determination, and a revolutionary technology known as Google Earth, he sets out to find his lost family and finally return to his first home.

After the death of his father, T’Challa returns home to the African nation of Wakanda to take his rightful place as king. When a powerful enemy suddenly reappears, T’Challa’s mettle as king — and as Black Panther — gets tested when he’s drawn into a conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda and the entire world at risk.
